“ I strongly believe in getting an image right in camera first and try to make all my digital files look like they were taken on film.” Photographer: Paul K Robbins After 20 years of immersion in the photographic industry, Paul has worked at every level of photographic production. He completed a TAFE Trade Certificate in Graphic Reproduction as a Scanner Operator in Ultimo, Sydney. He then went on to obtain a TAFE certificate in Professional Photography in Ultimo Sydney. Paul worked as Drum Scanner Operator for 11 years, developing his skills in technical areas of photography including color separation, color correction and re-touching. Paul went on to work in film houses and in this time completed extensive advertising and editorial work, directing photographic shoots for various forms of media. Paul’s passion for surfing has evoked a distinct love of nature. This love of the natural world and a fascination for people and places has created Paul’s artistic zeal for photography. |

“Monde Photo invites you into our world, and not just to see what we saw, but to also feel what we felt.” Director: Ludivine Robbins Ludivine was born in France. Her participation in travel began at a young age as her childhood was spent growing up all around France including Bordeaux, Normandie, The Alps and The Pyrennee. In 2003 Ludivine found herself in front of the camera completing extensive professional modeling work in Paris and Lyon. During this time Ludivine was able to gain an understanding of key technical elements of photography such as stylizing, lighting and composition. Her love of travel brought her to Australia in 2005, where she met her husband Paul and established Monde Photo. She now resides in Sydney, Australia. |
